Beach Read Energy Is Here

If you had told me a year ago that I’d be hand-painting bookmarks on my dining room table while listening to a playlist I’d carefully curated for the occasion, I probably would’ve laughed.

And then I would’ve asked what exactly happened to my life.

Well…

Apparently this happened.

Today I’m excited to share Beach Read Energy, the first edition of Venvy Mail Club.

It’s for people who still believe a really good novel is a perfectly acceptable reason to ignore their phone for a while.

It’s for afternoons that disappear because one more chapter somehow turned into six.

It’s for sunscreen, iced coffee, libraries, little bookstores, quiet mornings, and remembering that reading used to be something we did because we loved it—not because someone online told us we should.

Inside you’ll find a small collection of things designed for slow summer afternoons with a novel or long drives with the windows down: thoughtfully designed paper goods, a hand-painted bookmark, collectible Venvylets, and a correspondence set for sending beautiful mail to someone special.

That playlist? It’s not the kind of beach vibes playlist you’d hear in a palapa bar. It’s inspired by my favorite kind of day: pulling on my white Chucks and some giant sunnies, tossing a novel into my bag, taking the scenic route to nowhere in particular, and stopping whenever I find a bookstore, a quiet beach, or a view worth sitting with. Every song is sun-warmed and vibey, but mellow enough not to distract you from your beach read. They’re the perfect soundtrack for a day of painting, reading, or meandering along some sunny coastal highway.

There are a few more invitations tucked inside, too, so you can spend a little more time in stories and a little less time scrolling.

Because sometimes the internet can wait. A really good book can’t.

This is the beginning of a growing collection of seasonal mail experiences, each with its own theme and story to tell.

Each one will be a little different. Each one will be assembled by hand.

And each one is meant to become something worth keeping.
